In honour of our great armed forces work for our country, we at the YMCA Bolton are preparing a banner made of thousands of soldiers in groups of 4, doing the YMCA!

For many people the name YMCA conjures up memories of the organisations work during the two world wars. Through its work with the forces and their families, we helped civilian victims of war and prisoners of war too. The organisation as a whole touched more people and gained more recognition than ever before.
 
We look out though to the troops of today still protecting our country be it at home here in the United Kingdom, or abroad on the front lines. They are "fighting the good fight" so people at home can sleep easy in their beds!
 
We recognise this great feat of mental and pysical talent and in honour of them we are working to create a massive "Thankyou" banner filled of thousands of troops doing the YMCA in each picture. (One man doing Y, 2nd man doing M, etc.)

All pictures should be of four armed forces members, with each member doing one letter of the YMCA. We will be posting on the site as the banner fills up, main thing is the more pictures the better! So keep them coming!
